Pickup.am ("We", "Us", "Service") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, and what rights you have. By using the Pickup.am platform you acknowledge and agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service.
2. What Data We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal data: A. Information you provide directly • Full name — provided at account registration • Email address — used for login, notifications, and support communication • Phone number — used for SMS delivery notifications and driver contact • Brand / shop name — used to identify your business on the platform • Pickup and delivery addresses — required for order fulfillment • Package descriptions and declared values — as entered per order B. Automatically collected data • Session cookies — for authentication and platform functionality • IP address — for security monitoring and abuse prevention • GPS coordinates — collected from drivers only, during active route execution
3. How We Use Your Data
We use the data collected for the following purposes: • Order fulfillment — organizing pickups and deliveries, coordinating with drivers • Notifications — sending SMS and push notifications about order status changes • Financial management — processing payments, managing client balances and invoices • Customer support — resolving issues related to your account or orders • Security — fraud detection, rate limiting, protecting accounts from unauthorized access • Service improvement — aggregated, anonymized statistics to improve platform performance
4. Who We Share Data With
Pickup.am does not sell your personal data to third parties. We share data only to the extent strictly necessary with: • Drivers — recipient name, phone, and delivery address to complete the delivery • SMS providers (Infobip or WINGS Broker API) — phone number and message content for notifications • Yandex Maps — anonymized address fragments for map display and route planning • Payment processors — Idram and card processors for transaction processing (PCI-DSS compliant) • Law enforcement — only when required by a valid legal order under Armenian law We do not transfer your personal data outside Armenia without prior notice and appropriate consent.
5. Cookies & Tracking
Pickup.am uses a minimal set of cookies strictly necessary for operation: • Session cookie — maintains your authenticated session; expires when you close your browser or log out • Language preference — stored in localStorage only, never transmitted to our servers We do not use tracking pixels, third-party analytics (e.g. Google Analytics), advertising cookies, or behavioral tracking. We do not retarget users based on their platform activity.
6. Data Retention
• Account data — retained while your account is active • Order records — retained for 3 years after account closure, per Armenian commercial law • Financial records — retained for 5 years as required by Armenian tax and accounting law • Driver GPS data — retained for 30 days on a rolling basis, then automatically deleted • Session cookies — expire at the end of each browser session • Verification and password-reset tokens — expire within 30 hours of issuance
7. Your Rights
Under the Law of the Republic of Armenia on Personal Data Protection, you have the right to: • Access — obtain a copy of the personal data we hold about you • Rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data • Erasure — request deletion of your account and personal data (subject to mandatory recordkeeping obligations) • Restriction — request that we limit processing of your data in certain circumstances • Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@pickup.am. Pickup.am implements industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data: • All API connections are encrypted using HTTPS (TLS 1.2+) • Passwords are stored as cryptographic hashes — never in plain text • Role-based access control ensures personal data is accessible only to authorized roles • Regular security reviews and vulnerability assessments are conducted If a data breach occurs that affects your rights, we will notify you promptly and take all steps required under applicable law.
9. Opting Out
• You may delete your account at any time by contacting info@pickup.am • Disabling cookies in your browser will prevent authentication and platform use • You may disable SMS notifications in your account settings Note: some data may be retained after account deletion where required by Armenian law (financial and tax records).
